My name is Rachael Lashmar, I provide Counselling and Psychotherapy in a safe non-judgemental environment for young people and adults. I am Accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), my main training is as a psychodynamic counsellor, and as such work with you on being able to gain insight into how the past can influence your present emotional behaviour and wellbeing. However, In my counselling work I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs, integrating techniques from my continued training.
In my counselling practice I work with individuals from the age of 14 on a short term or an open-ended basis. We would start your counselling with an initial appointment, allowing us to get to know each other and talk over your current anxieties and concerns. This appointment will give you an idea of what to expect from counselling and from there we will make further regular weekly appointments.
